Hi, and welcome. I am a developer, and like many others I got tired of bookmarking a pile of different websites, one to format JSON, one regex tester, one to convert units, one for base64, and never finding the right bookmark when I actually needed it.

So the idea was simple. I wanted to gather the tools you use all the time in one place, so you only need a single bookmark. That is what verktoy.dev is, a growing collection of small, fast tools for developers and everyday life, from converters and regex testers to Norwegian calculators.

While adding tools I use all the time myself, I have tried to include everything you might need for calculations, both the Norwegian ones and other conversions and tools that others might need.

A few principles I stick to

• As few dependencies as possible. The pages should be light and load fast.
• Anything that can run locally runs locally in your browser, so your data rarely leaves your machine. The few tools that use an external service are clearly marked.
• Free, no login and no clutter. Ads keep it free for everyone.

The site keeps growing, and suggestions for new tools are very welcome.
